What is BitcoinZ (BTCZ)?
Introduction
The coin we will be stomping today is BitcoinZ or (BTCZ). We have wanted to write about this coin for a while now, as its popularity is starting to increase; we need to do our part and spread the good word. BitcoinZ is a fork of Bitcoin that aims to enable zero-fee transactions and faster block times. The cryptocurrency started as an educational project and has grown in popularity since the coin’s whitepaper launch on September 9, 2017.
BitcoinZ is a fork of Bitcoin that has a few changes to the code that make it more decentralized and secure. It has a larger block size than Bitcoin, which makes it easier to transact quickly and cheaply. The team aimed to create a coin with the best aspects of BTC and ZClassic (another fork).
The reason for forking BitcoinZ is that its development team abandoned ZCL after being delisted on many exchanges due to its meager price ($3-$5). BTCZ’s supply is limited 21 billion coins but with faster transaction times than Bitcoin thanks to its larger block sizes (8 MB vs. 1 MB). BitcoinZ has tremendous speed at 2MB every 2.5 minutes.
Furthermore, BTCZ is a 100% mineable coin, and since it is still new in the crypto world, the network difficulty for finding yourself a block is low. We have mined just over 160 blocks here at CoinStomper and continue to point our miners in the BTCZ pool while the difficulty is still solvable.
The mining algorithm similar to BTC gets halved every four years as well. You may find a block easily and get a reward of 5,848 BTCZ; however, when the blocks get split, the mining rewards do as well, and the difficulty of finding new coins increases. Your 5,848 BTCZ is now 2,924 BTCZ and much more challenging to find. The algorithm is a driving factor in the face value of the coin as a whole and will most certainly continue to drive up as the years pass. The price could also be influenced by the sheer volume of holders increasing.

Can anyone mine BitcoinZ?
